To ensure the academic rigour, quality and diversity of perspectives of the II Congrés Català del Treball, the Government of Catalonia established the Scientific Committee as a technical and scientific advisory body.
Its purpose is to foster a shared reflection on the main challenges facing the world of work, including digitalisation, the green transition, technological changes, new economic dynamics and the promotion of quality employment, in line with the objectives of the Government Plan for the 15th legislative term.
The Committee has provided guidance on the definition of the Congress’s main areas of debate, the proposal of key thematic areas and the identification of experts, helping to ensure that discussions and proposals are grounded in specialised knowledge and analysis.
Established within the framework of the Social Dialogue Council of Catalonia, the Committee brings together highly respected professionals and academics specialising in employment, labour relations, economics, law and technology.
